Since October 2014 this event has changed to a weaving and spinning day. There is a floor loom there for you to try.  These are held at the Rural Life Centre (also known as the Old Kiln Museum), on the The Reeds Road, halfway between Tilford and Millbridge, on the third Monday of each month.

The site is quite extensive, so if you are coming for the first time, you need to look for the Old Village Hall on your right hand side past the cafe, and before the track bends to the right. There is free parking available in the museum car park (a bit of a trek from the car park if your spinning wheel is heavy but we can help if you need it). On Mondays we can park on the left hand side of the path - just before the Village Hall, to save us having to carry our wheels and looms from the Car Park. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the hall (but no sink). Toilets are in a separate building. If coming on a Monday, members should bring a packed lunch and a mug for your drink, because the museum cafe is closed. There is a large floor loom on display in the hall. For members this is free. Visitors pay £3 per visit to cover hall hire and tea and coffee costs.

4th Saturday: from March 31st till October at the Rural life museum at Reeds Road Tilford again,in the Village Hall. The museum will be open to the public so we will have people looking at our work and talking to us , this is great fun and spreads the word for the guild.
